一般過去時：功能：(1)表示過去某個特定時間或某一段時間發(fā)生的動作或情況。

►. I went to school by bike when I was in middle school.

►. China was founded in 1949.(2)在表示時間或條件等的狀語從句中代替過去將來時。

►. She told me that she would not go with us if it rained the next day.

►. They would not leave until she came back.
